Coursefinder 2010 report

I’ve quietly been collecting search data on the University of Leeds’ Coursefinder for a while now, and always wanted to pick out some interesting facts and figures, the following is a combination of search and analytics data from the entirety of 2010.

Sorry this is an image and not 'proper' data, I didn't have time to do it properly :(

I love the elegant typography and form of the search terms cloud. Is it automatically generated (GD library / wizard magic)? If so I may need to go freelance for a while to build a WordPress plugin based on it. Jk, a few tickets to fix first. :-)

The tag cloud was generated from wordle, I’ve not found any plugins (jQuery, or otherwise) that replicate the functionality unfortunately :(
